"Gareth Whittock's score, deriving from, electronic treatement of a disintegrating piano, is arresting"
The Guardian Newspaper, uk.

With a background in composition and sound design for film, TV, radio, animation, dance and professional theatre, Gareth Whittock has been plying his live musical trade as far afield as Japan, North America, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy and the Ukraine as well as all over the UK.
Gareth has taken part in innumerable experimental concerts with musicians from four continents.

His latest venture involves integrating environmental variables into complex MAX MSP patches, via custom-created 'enviro-sensonics', to create unique compositions that are literally "played" by the environment, (see Enviro-sensonic tab).

Gareth was educated in electronic music at Cardiff University, UK.
He lectures in Music Technology in Swansea Metropolitan University, Wales and City of Bath College, England.
